During his travels to India, Henning was shocked when he witnessed the impact of Western consumerism on India's society. He decided that things could and should be done differently and founded the sustainable and fair fashion brand MELA. By keeping low margins, MELA wants to make sustainable and fair fashion available to everyone. The freshly colored and timeless pieces and fairly priced bedding are produced in GOTS and Fairtrade certified factories in India, where the team pays frequent visits.
